Harvey and Daisy were married in September 2025 at Can Xuxu. This wedding will always stay with me—not only because of the warmth and kindness of the couple and their families, but also because it was the first wedding organized at Can Xuxu, a place I have known and loved for many years. The venue also holds special meaning for them, as it has been their family’s home-away-from-home destination for over a decade. The kitchen was led by the previous chefs who now own a restaurant, adding to the intimate and personal atmosphere of the celebration. Everything felt heartfelt and genuine, with a beautiful sense of home throughout the weekend. It was a three-day wedding celebration: a sunset welcome aperitivo on Friday evening; the wedding on Saturday with a garden ceremony, sunset cocktails on the terrace, a poolside dinner, and a lively party in the club; followed by a relaxed Sunday recovery paella by the pool. For this event, I oversaw full production for the venue, managed the F&B operations, and did the wedding planning alongside Daisy, the sweetest bride. It was a true 360° role in a uniquely special setting, shared with an incredibly kind couple and their wonderful families.
