In 2024, while working at Aguamadera as Hotel Manager, I also initiated and curated a series of musical events to enrich the hotel’s cultural and artistic offering. Together with the renowned DJ and artist Guts—who is also a close collaborator—we created Campo Libre, a celebration of dance, freedom, and community. Every two weeks on Thursday evenings, locals and travelers came together to enjoy nights of music, movement, and carefully curated food and drink experiences. In collaboration with F&B partners Mezcal Amaras and Vino&Co, and complemented by Aguamadera’s firewood-cooked dishes, the events were a great success, attracting a crowd that aligned perfectly with the brand’s identity. Known for his eclectic musical exploration—from hip-hop and funk to Afro-tropical sounds—Guts also occasionally invited guest artists such as the founder of Radio Nova, and latin-talents.
